Quasi-polarized Calabi-Yau threefolds

Abstract:
A pair (X,L) is called a quasi-polarized Calabi-Yau threefold if X is Calabi-Yau threefold with at worst Gorenstein canonical singularities and L is a nef and big line bundle. In this talk, I will start by introducing the notion of canonical singularities, and then I will discuss the Fujita type results for (X,L) and their applications to the birational geometry of Fano manifolds with coindex four.
