Abstract:
Although great progress has been made in the research of electromagnetic scattering characteristics of targets and environment, some challenging problems in engineering applications, e.g., detection and intelligent recognition of low scattering targets in complex environment, and new radar system development, are advanced. In this talk, we will introduce some key and difficult mathematical problems encountered in the investigation of electromagnetic scattering characteristics of targets and environment from three aspects, scattering modeling, inverse scattering and intelligent recognition of radar targets. It is expected that by this talk, experts and scholars from mathematics could carry out cooperative research with us and present some effective schemes to the above problems.
